Mr. MacDonald works as an X receiver where he understands QB scramble drill working back towards his QB to be an outlet to keep the chains moving using his toe tap along the sidelines to secure the grab. What catches the eye is his ability to gain inside release vs press coverage, stack the defender, and break the defender off at the top of the route creating separation to secure grabs across the middle of the field in tight coverage.
