Junior Season Analysis

Mr. Johnson recently picked up 2 G5 FBS offers this off-season from the MAC (University of Toledo, University of Miami-Ohio) with his Sophomore season performance on Varsity. When you turn on his game film you see exactly why he has this recruitment interest so early in his high school career. Here, he’s a N/S downhill style runner with good vision and has the long speed to outrun pursuit angles breaking long runs for 6. Pair this with his hard running ability and you have yourself a powerback who can turn a 2 yard run into a 15-20 yard gain by using his leg drive through the whistle/through contact as he fights for extra yards. All in all, Mr. Johnson Jr is a high caliber prospect who is primed to be another standout HB out of St. Rita.
