Junior Season Analysis

Mr. Howland finished last fall securing 45 total tackles, forcing 7 PBUs, 3 TFLs, and 1 forced fumble. This young man is a swiss army knife on defense being moved around the secondary depending on the down and distance. When he's in the box close to the line he has the threat of coming on an edge blitz where he can blow up the back in pass pro and close quickly to generate pressure on the QB forcing errant throws. When he's a two high safety, he reads his keys to undercut routes making plays on the ball and uses his long reach to play above the rim on 50/50 balls. The versatility Mr. Howland has is a sight to see and I'm very interested to see how his recruiting shakes up this offseason as he's currently flying under the radar.
