Junior Season Analysis

Mr. Ashiru is a versatile reciever working both on the outside as an X receiver and out of the slot - both of which he makes his impact felt. This was seen with his production securing 55 receptions for 785 receiving yards along with securing 9 TDs. When you turn on his film you see why. It's his quickness off the line paired with his crisp route running that catch the eye and pop out on film - it doesn't matter if you're pressing or playing of off coverage this young man gets to the defender's toes quickly. Here, once he does he gets in/out of his breaks quickly at the top of the route creating big separation from defenders on the play. Not to mention he has the ability to play above the rim to secure contested catches off 50/50 balls. Mr. Ashiru currently is flying under the radar and needs more eyes on his recruiting.
