Junior Season Analysis
Mr. Winfield primarily works as an X receiver where he can make defenses pay with skinny post and fade routes. Here, this young man is not afraid to play above the rim to secure contested catches off 50/50 balls producing momentum changing plays for his team. Not to mention he showcases flashes of his breaks at the top of his routes to create separation from defenders - especially on routes across the middle of the field after he gains leverage to keep the sticks moving. From a production standpoint, this young man finished his Jr season with 48 receptions for 773 receiving yards and tacked on 8 TDs in the process.
