Mr. Mercado can work both in-line and out of the slot in gun formation. Both of which he makes his precense known on underneath routes to stay ahead of the sticks keeping drives going. If you're going to arm tackle this young man you better make sure you have teammates rallying to the ball as this young man isn't afraid to lower his shoulder to fight for extra yards breaking weak tackles in the process. This is what makes Mr. Mercado a reliable checkdown option for his QB all season long.
