Junior Season Analysis

Mr. Walker is from East St. Louis High School where he primarily works as an outside linebacker. Here, this young man can crash flat down the line to secure chasedown tackles in run support for no gain/losses on plays. More of the same is seen when he comes on an edge blitz beating the offensive tackle to the turn point and closing in an instant on the QB to not only generate pressure forcing errant throws but also to secure sacks in the process. In short yardage situations, he can go to the inside linebacker position where he triggers downhill quickly in close space to meet the ball carrier in the hole for no gain. It's the run stopping ability paired with his quick transitions to close space that stand out from his film. All in all, Mr. Walker is a high caliber prospect who is currently flying under the radar.
